BBS began in a modest corner of a retail store, offering made-to-measure services as a value-added extension of our parent brand, Benjamin Barker.
After eight years of custom tailoring, we felt the desire to go beyond just tailoring—we wanted to create an experience. We saw an opportunity in the market: a gap in the classic menswear space with untapped potential. BBS was born from the vision of building a platform where menswear enthusiasts could express themselves, explore their creativity, and define their own style.
Today, we offer both custom tailoring and ready-to-wear pieces. Yet, we’re often mistaken for a typical Benjamin Barker store. That’s been one of our ongoing challenges—being pigeonholed into a single category or defined solely by one aspect of what we do.
But at BBS, we’re making a statement. We embrace the fluidity between the bespoke and the off-the-rack, between heritage craftsmanship and modern expression. We're not here to follow rigid definitions—we’re here to move freely between both worlds and give people the space to do the same.
